Our leather jackets and denim jeans are compliant to CE EN 1621 for impact protectors, with leather jackets compliant to CE EN 13595 and leather gloves to CE EN13594 – crucial certifications which test the abrasion resistance of the fabric of the garment.
In addition, we are proud to announce that our 2018 leather jackets and gloves are amongst the very first in the world to have been assessed and certified to the new European Personal Protective Equipment Regulation 2016/425, which came into force on 21 April, 2018.

CE Impact Abrasion Testing Results at High Risk Areas
Zone 1 - has the highest level of injury risk. These areas need impact protectors and highly abrasion-resistant material. The European EN13595-1:2002 standard for jackets and pants requires a minimum of 4 seconds abrasion resistance for level 1 compliance or 7 seconds for level 2. This Torque(R) jacket exceeded 19 seconds of abrasion resistance in controlled laboratory tests.
Zone 2 - also has a high injury risk and needs highly abrasion-resistant material (minimum of 4 seconds for Level 1 or 7 seconds for Level 2 compliance) outside the area covered by impact protectors. This Torque(R) jacket exceeded 19 seconds of abrasion resistance in controlled laboratory tests.
Zone 3 - has a lower injury risk and requires only moderately abrasion-resistant material (minimum 1.8 seconds for Level 1 or 1.5 seconds for Level 2 compliance). This Torque(R) jacket exceeded 5.5 seconds of abrasion resistance in controlled laboratory tests.
Zone 4 - has a relatively low injury risk and requires minimally abrasion resistant material (minimum 1.0 seconds for Level 1 or 1.5 seconds for Level 2 compliance). This Torque(R) jacket exceeded 5.5 seconds of abrasion resistance in controlled laboratory tests.
This Torque(R) Ladies Motorcycle Leather Jacket fulfills the High requirements for impact abrasion resistance and other performance characteristics demanded by Level 2 of the EN13595-1:2002 standard in ALL zones, in controlled laboratory test.
