Rated 4 out of 5 by Teutonic from Cheap, but not perfect From a price perspective, a 900W extendable trimmer for sixty quid is a bonkers amount of value. Homebase want £180 for an equivalent tool! Quality wise you do, of course get what you pay for. Very noisy motor, which will be right next to your head if you're holding it up for highest hedges. I'd recommend wearing ear defenders. The clips which hold the sections together have been very poorly finished too. The pop rivets have all been hand machined to smooth them and the operator has skimmed them too hard. (Poor quality control). One disintegrated immediately I tried to put it together. Thankfully, I have a rivet kit so could replace it, but it may mean a trudge back to the store if you're not similarly equipped. In spite of this, I'd recommend the product. Having the powerful motor at the lower end of the trimmer keeps the whole unit in good balance. The shoulder belt means the main weight is carried by ones body, leaving the hands to control the cut.
