Workzone 10.8V Li-Ion Cordless Drill: ProRef 65166
I recently visited my nearest branch of Aldi in order to purchase an entirely unrelated item that was on offer as a Special Buy. At the same time however, the Workzone 10.8V Li-Ion Cordless Drill caught my attention, as it was also available at an irresistible price. Speaking purely from an ergonomic stand point, the soft-grip handle of this item sits really comfortably in the palm of my hand and the whole drill feels beautifully balanced.
I was completely stunned by its solid reassuring build quality and one of the outstanding features is a bright white LED, situated just above the trigger, which usefully illuminates darkened areas ahead into which you might wish to drive a screw, such as when assembling kitchen cabinets or DIY flat-packs for example.
A gentle squeeze on the trigger conveniently activates the light BEFORE the chuck actually rotates in either direction, making this item ideally suitable as a reversible electric screwdriver for instance. The drill has a wide selection of 19 torque settings to choose from and the 2-speed gear-setting is controllable by a sliding switch on the top of the drill housing. The chuck starts very slowly indeed, getting progressively faster as you gradually increase the pressure on the trigger up to a maximum no load speed of 1350 RPM.
This product comes inside a tough custom-made synthetic case secured with a pair of metal clasps, the lower section containing the mains battery charger and the drill itself. In the hinged upper lid, the 13-piece Accessory Kit consists of six different drills, six screwdriver bits and a hexagonal magnetic holder, into which the screwdriver bits are held in place. Finally, a clear comprehensive 24-page printed English User manual is also included, which is a rarity nowadays !
Imho the Workzone 10.8V Li-Ion Cordless Drill represents truly exceptional value for money and I have no reservation whatsoever in highly recommending this product to potential customers. *****

A light and powerful cordless drill
The power for a 10.8v is incredible with top speed of 1350 r.p.m
I bought this drill for the Lithium Ion battery as they hold their charge over a long period.
You will not be disappointed with this drill.
