So I picked one up but changed my mind, it would appear that Aldi buyers need to learn to think from the customers perspective ie if you're not going to regularly stock the CO2 cartridges then it's a complete waste of money buying the thing to begin with.
FYI I've had a couple of these types over the years and have opted for the type of CO2 Cartridge "without threads" the reasoning for this is that they are readily available in ex army and sport type outlets as they are used in air rifles and such and are very reasonably priced 50p -60p.
For anyone that hasn't come across these before, they are a very handy tool worth carrying, not so much on a mountain bike but definately advantageous on high pressure tyres. But think before you buy one as you'll need to get the CO2 from somewhere at a good price and regular.

bargain can not find cheaper anywhere else.
co2 inflator and 1 cartridge for 4.99 or 5 co2 cartridge's for 4.99..........a must have for any cyclist and if you ride MTB you wont use a whole cartridge to inflate your tyre just close the valve on the inflator and save the rest for the next time....can not find them cheaper anywhere.....just wish stock would last longer in store....

Cost and availability of replacement gas cartridges are not declared so as a "use once and discard" assumed situation, it is very expensive !
