Rated 4 out of 5 by chasb from Useful but not Universal Great value and good enough quality for most home mechanics wanting to keep their bike in order but like all kits you may find some bits don't fit your particular bike. Best suited to Shimano type components. Just a word about the previous review, the thin spanners are for working on hub ball bearings where you need very thin spanners and not for axle nuts, even the best cone spanners will not stand up to that. I'd seen these kits come and go for a couple of years and was eventually broken by Aldi and bought one. It helped that my fairly old and well used bike was struggling and needed a good going over. I compared the kit a few times on the internet and couldn't find anything with quite as many items to match the value. Anyway, out of the whole kit, I mostly needed to use the thin black spanners to tighten my rear wheel. Typically, (why me I heard in my head), using them left me feeling very disappointed. The spanner had no strength to hold it's shape and turn the nut. It now looks like a spanner which could turn circles. So I have a kit which duplicates most things I already had in the garage with a couple of thin (and the only type for the job) spanners that are useless. I should have taken it back for a refund as at least that way I wouldn't now feel aggrieved every time I look at the box.
