Not quite as described.
The advert says 100% cotton but the packet says 80% polyester/20% polyamide. Naughty.

All that said they still do a nice job. I've just used one on my specs and there's no sign of a smudge or grease. So unless you're really into natural fibres the above probably makes little difference.
