Faulty torch
Bought 2 of these but torch does not work on either, currently testing their charging capabilities and then will return for a refund.

Wrong instructions
Instructions in box for torch operation and charging are wrong, for torch press on/off rapidly twice..and likewise to turn torch off.. full charge is 4 blue solid lights not one red light.. SORT IT OUT ALDI...!!!

Seems to be OK.
Someone wrote that they took their item back for replacement because torch function wouldn't work and a replacement didn't seem to work either. I was thinking the same, but it needs a double press of the on-off button to activate the light (and again to turn it off.) If only ALDI proof read their instructions. Another issue is that the instructions say there is a red light while charging which goes out when it's charged. There isn't! There are four small blue LEDs. Oh dear ALDI, people will take them back if you get the instructions wrong when in fact you might well have a great good value product.
Obviously day one is too soon to consider rating it and seeing if it provides the power it is rated at - some makes do and some makes do not, I think this one will but much too soon to tell and provide a rating for it.
It seems well made which is a good start!
