Bought one last year - Very pleased with it
This looks very similar to the chainsaw that Aldi were selling last year, which I bought. I can see from the photos that it's not exactly the same, but its the same make, specification and price, so I'm assuming this is just an updated version.
I've been pleased with mine. It's served me well over winter, starts and runs well, and when I wore out the chain I had no trouble getting a generic replacement fitted.
I originally bought it thinking "for that price it's worth a try" and as always seems to happen with Aldi, you end up finding the product doesn't fall short in any way.
I'm sure there are many people who would prefer to pay 10x the price for a Stihl chainsaw, but if you're not a professional tree surgeon or lumberjack, I reckon this chainsaw is just the job and is excellent VFM (value for money).
