Much better than it looks
I had a load of logs I'd been putting to one side as my hand axe/splitter wouldn't touch them, when through them like butter. The picture makes it look a bit of a toy, its not and I don't think the advert says it's hydraulic which it is. At 6 tonnes of pressure its better than others I considered buying, most cheap ones start at 4 tonnes.

Excellent machine
I cut more logs in 45 minutes than I did in 6hours of swinging my axe! This product will soon pay for itself in time saved. It easily splits logs bigger than the spec says and was simple to put together. Its safe and sturdy but I do have 1 criticism, the width of the wheels is too wide to go through my shed door.
Overall, its fantastic

Fantastic logsplitter!
I have been looking for a log splitter for some time & this one is a great spec, especially for the price. You wont get a 6ton machine for this price anywhere - there are almost identical splitters on the market for £70 -£100 more.
I set up my new log splitter very easily & put it straigt to work - fantastic, no more aching back and it splits difficult knotty logs very easily. I have also split some 600mm dia poplar with no problem, so the size is not an issue.
My only negative comment is that the bleed screw seems a bit flimsy & will have to be treated with care.

Splits much bigger logs than 25cm diameter
Have just bought one, and have been splitting huge cedar tree trunks, way over the specification. I actually do not think the picture in the background is misleading- it is performing much better than I expected. Takes quite a time to assemble the stand though, and assembly instructions are very poor.
