Got it mainly for the glowing coals and flame effect - happy with the result. It buzzed slightly but I put a 2lb weight on the top and that stopped the buzzing completely. The top doesn't even get warm. The fan isn't too noisy and there is no burning dust smell from the elements.

Looks brilliant, So soothing flame effect.
I would certianly recommend buying this fire, easy to operate, looks fantastic, compared to other flame effect fires on the market this is far superior for the price.
