Messy meringue
Meringue was smashed when I opened it. Carefully tried to place it back together. Wanted to heat so read instructions and was told I had to remove foil packaging, which was strange I thought but gave it a go. Result was a pie which crumbled up and went everywhere on tray. My other half did say I should have left it on foil.
recommends 15 mins. I checked just before 10 mins to find it burning.
Despite all this the lemon part tasted beautiful and the salvaged pieces of meringue also nice.
