R. BampfieldSagrantino may not be a well- known grape, but it is gaining a reputation for the wines it produces in the commune of Montefalco in Umbria. Ripe, with rich fruit flavour and well integrated oak, this is a bold, highly satisfying dry red. Well worth a try.
